Fixed how the subclass curvedmapworks together with its parent class surfacemap, and  various python 2 vs 3 problems for the read map methods

Changed name and added a feature to the surfacemap method crop. Fixed a minor thing in the read_map function.

Added option to read ligo surface maps to the read_map() function. Swapped x/y-axes in the surfacemap.plot() function.

adding in code to generate ROM files for Finesse which have multple ROQ rules for knm of different directions
